Great starter underwear for potty training – perfect for my 12-month-old
I bought the Blushbaby Padded Underwear for my 12-month-old daughter and have been really happy with it. The 3-layer cotton padding feels soft against her skin, and the “DryFeel” layer does seem to keep the inside from staying soggy after a small pee.
We use these mainly during diaper-free playtime at home and short naps, not for long outings or overnight. For that purpose, they’re excellent: she can feel a bit of wetness (which I think helps with potty awareness), but it doesn’t instantly soak her clothes or the floor. The pull-up style is easy to put on and take off, and the elastics around the legs are snug without leaving marks.
I’ve washed them 4–5 times so far; they still look and feel good, and the absorbency hasn’t dropped. If you’re starting early potty training or just want a reusable option for daytime at home, these work really well. Just keep in mind they’re not a full diaper—change her soon after she pees, and you’ll be fine.
Overall: soft, reusable, and very useful for a 1-year-old transitioning away from constant diaper use. Would definitely recommend and buy again.
